Just a quick note to mention that Galactic Front is back online. The latest release includes some major updates to both the server (written in Ruby) and the client (updated to use ActionScript 3).
This project is giving me a lot of opportunities to experiment. Besides being my first foray into ActionScript 3, its web site is the first public use of Phrameworks 1.0.
I'll write some technical articles about how I'm developing the game and what I've learned whenever I get a moment to take a deep breath and look back on it.
